Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome our gymnasts and their parents with enthusiasm and a smile
- Ensure that everyone who enters the gym follows the Dane & CDC’s guidelines
- Ensure that the reception and waiting area is tidy and presentable at all times
- Help parents get settled in the viewing areas
- Be energetic, encouraging and engage with the kids
- Provide clear and accurate information in-person and by phone/email
- Assist parents with the purchasing of Capital products
- Support the day-to-day front desk operations
- Other duties as assigned
- Administering first aid if necessary
This is a part-time job. You have the option to work two, three or four afternoon/evenings, Monday through Thursday 3:45 – 8:15pm, and Saturday mornings, with an opportunity for additional hours.
Qualifications:

Capital Gymnastics is hiring team coaches to work with our growing Xcel and compulsory teams. Approximately 3 nights per week, and weekends during competition seasons.
Responsibilities:
– Developing and coaching team gymnasts
– Creating, developing and implementing lesson plans
– Setting up and safe proofing the gym area
– Being energetic and encouraging with the kids
– Administering first aid if necessary
– Travel with team to in-state and out of state meets
– Identify talented gymnasts to help build the future of our competitive programs
– Cleaning, disinfecting and keeping the kids safe by following the CDC and Dane County regulations
Qualifications:
– Knowledge of the compulsory or Xcel programs
– Experience coaching competitive gymnastics
– You must love working with kids
– Must be a leader and positive role model
– Highly motivated and energetic

Capital Gymnastics is looking for passionate people with a love for children, and a positive attitude to teach our recreational Ninja Force classes. We are looking for candidates with high energy, who love to learn.
Ninja Force coaches are responsible for leading their ninja classes/groups of students weekly throughout each season and using a mix of provided curriculum and training and their creativity to challenge and grow each student to continued progression in their ninja skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: No prior ninja experience necessary. Come and learn while you work!
DESIRED SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Positive, energetic, cheerful attitude with staff, athletes, and parents
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Must have a passion for ninja and a love for children
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to plan, organize, direct, lead, and troubleshoot daily operations, services, and safety of the recreation program.
- Knowledge and physical ability to teach high quality recreational classes.
- Ability to work with a growing recreation program and participate in collaborative activities to enhance the quality of the program and build the business.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents and students, as well as coworkers, supervisor, and Director.
- You must have the physical capacity to be on your feet throughout full 4-6 hours shifts and the strength required to provide spotting to students as needed per the level/skills you will coach.
- Ninja experience a PLUS!
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
- Weekday availability Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:45pm – 8pm
- Weekend availability Saturdays from 9am – 1pm
