Coach Holly joined Capital gymnastics in 2019. She is the Xcel team director, and she teaches preschool, recreational, and developmental classes, and also leads special events. She helps with program and lesson plan development.
Coach Holly teaches because she loves working with gymnasts, helping them grow and overcome hurdles to become more confident and accomplish new goals and skills. Coach Holly loves working with gymnasts of all levels and abilities. She loves to help the children grow as individuals and use the skills they learned in the gym for the rest of their lives.
Holly was a gymnast for 13 years and competed for 7 years, she was a dancer for 17 years, with her main focus on lyrical, tap, and acro. She started coaching gymnastics and teaching dance in 2012. She taught dance from 2012 through 2017 in Baraboo and Eau Claire. She began teaching gymnastics in 2012 in Baraboo and the Wisconsin Dells. Coach Holly helped open and start the Xcel team in the Wisconsin Dells where she trained a state and regional champion.
Coach Holly loves sharing her passion with her husband and coaching and developing teams together. You may see Coach Holly in the gym with their daughter Isabelle who was born June 2022! In her free time, Holly likes hanging out with her dog Elli and her Parrots, Tico and Pedro.

Coach Tyler joined Capital Gymnastics in 2020. He coaches team, preschool and rec classes, and special events. Tyler likes to make sure kids have a fun experience while learning and perfecting their skills. He likes the sense of community in the gym, and he says it is super rewarding to see the kids accomplish their goals.
Tyler competed in track and field in high school, where he was a sprinter and thrower in shot and disc. Tyler was a zipline guide for 7 years at the Wilderness Hotel and Golf resort in the Wisconsin Dells. He attended UW Eau Claire after high school.
Coach Tyler feels lucky to be able to share his wife’s passion for gymnastics and coach alongside her. You may also see Coach Tyler in the gym with their daughter Isabelle who was born June 20, 2022!
Tyler enjoys taking his dog, Elli, to the dog park and his favorite place to visit is Disney World.

David began at Capital Gymnastics in January 2021. David has a very strong love and passion for the sport of gymnastics and he wants to ensure kids learn, have fun and have a positive experience just like he did. David says kids grow, develop social awareness and learn resilience through the sport of gymnastics. David started gymnastics at age 9 and stopped at age 23. He competed on two teams in Madison from age 12-19 and then he moved on to compete from ages 19-23 for the Arizona State University men’s gymnastics team. Competing for ASU, David’s team was 3-time collegiate national champions 2003, 2004 and 2005. David was also an academic scholar. He also took ballet and was an All City Diver. David coached preschool gymnastics in the Madison area for 5 years. He also helped teach level 1 gymnasts.
David likes doing yoga, reading, going for walks/hikes in his free time, and spending time with his niece and nephew.

Natilie joined Capital Gymnastics in 2018. She teaches preschool, beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. She assists with team open gyms, birthday parties, tumbling clinics and other special events. Natilie loved gymnastics as a child and she loves to have an impact on kids, not only on their gymnastics development, but also on life skills that they can carry with them to life outside the gym. She loves to build kids confidence!
Natilie did gymnastics and competitive cheer when she was younger. Natilie is a freshman at Madison College. She enjoys going to her family’s cabin in Eagle River, she loves being out on the water and enjoys traveling to new places.

Laken joined Capital Gymnastics in 2020. She teaches preschool and recreational classes. Laken enjoys getting to know her students and helping them build their confidence!
Laken began taking gymnastics at the original Capital Gymnastics 10 years ago in April’s Oregon location. She competed in level 3 and also competed in Xcel. Laken began playing La Crosse 5 years ago. Laken is a senior at Oregon High School. She enjoys hanging with friends, swimming, spending time in the sun, and traveling to the beaches in Florida.

Megan joined Capital Gymnastics as an instructor in 2020. She teaches preschool, recreational and developmental classes. Megan assists with team practices, team open gyms and other special events.
Megan loves teaching gymnastics because she loves to see when her kids are so proud of themselves for learning new skills!
Megan began taking gymnastics at the original Capital Gymnastics 10 years ago in April’s Oregon location. Megan currently trains as a level 9 gymnast and her favorite event is bars!
Megan is a senior at Oregon High School. In addition to doing gymnastics, Megan also enjoys swimming in the summer!
April is passionate about gymnastics, dance, cheer, fitness, teaching her students, and living a healthy lifestyle. She opened Capital Gymnastics to share her passion, knowledge, love and experiences with her students and staff. She strives to keep a positive and encouraging environment for everyone at Capital Gymnastics. April began gymnastics at the age of 3 and has never looked back since. Her experiences have taken her from Kentucky to Colorado to California to Arizona and Wisconsin. She has coached under Olympic coaches, taught gymnastics, tumbling, cheerleading and acrobatics in gyms and dance studios, and she has run her own programs for the last 14 years. April was a competitive gymnast until the age of 14, a cheerleader throughout high school, and she performed as a dancer and acrobat with the Northern Kentucky University Dance Troupe throughout college. She worked as an acrobat in a circus in Los Angeles, danced and sang in musicals in Cincinnati and Denver, and worked on music videos and commercials in Los Angeles and Phoenix. April ran a mobile gymnastics school in Phoenix where she was the varsity tumbling coach for 5 high school cheerleading squads, where the focus was on tumbling, strength and conditioning and jump perfection. In Wisconsin, she owned Capital Gymnastics Academy for 8 years until her husband’s job required a move back to Arizona. She has coached and trained gymnasts, dancers and cheerleaders ranging in ages 3-18, from preschool, developmental, and recreational level through compulsory and optional competitive team levels, and has developed numerous state champions.
April feels blessed to have had experiences that have given her so many amazing opportunities to travel, perform, compete, dance, teach and help students follow their dreams. April continues to develop knowledge and training methods to offer top quality instruction.
April has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Dance minor from Northern Kentucky University. Safety and Continuing Education are priorities and mandatory for April and her staff. She continues to expand her knowledge by keeping current with courses and certifications offered by USA Gymnastics.
